? does anyone know if where i can get a oil filter relocation kit
for the 455.

I used the kit by Trans Dapt
but used -10AN braided line for the hose. here's a pic of one installed in my 82 regal

thats what i need one for. mine is also in a regal and the
oil filter is very close to the frame rail. i have to take engine
mount loose and raise engine to change.

I didn't like the hoses included in the kit, they kinked too easily.
this is why I went with the -10AN lines, plus, they look much better
I recommend using a K&N filter also

I used a filter for a 05 chevy truck w/5.3 in my 87 Regal and now can R&R the filter with no problem. Shawn Carlin

Another thing to watch for is the poor machine work in the spin-on filter adaptor, as well as the housing to which the filter(s) mount. Some work on the passages to smooth out the sharp edges & turns should make your engine much happier, much as you'd do to block & timing cover passages to help flow.

just got my new trans- dapt in from summitt saturday.
