I was planning to buy a set of M/T ET Street Drag Radials (P275/60-15) and noticed that Goodyear now has released a drag radial in the same size. Anyone seen a set in use or have any experience with them?

"SS"???
Sounds like a Chev tire...
Maybe we should wait for the GS version.

Larry, I love the car, love the color (haven't seen one in the metallic "rootbeer" brown for a while) and my compliments to a great photo. With all that you have in the car it should be going well into the twelves though, something in the combination isn't giving you all that you should have. If the Quadrajet is anything less than 850 cfm, that is the first place to try a change, what gear are you running in the differential? Not trying to be a jerk, but I went through all of this with my car and without some of the goodies that you have (non stage one unported iron heads, 2500 stall, HEI distirbutor, 3:42 gears)and ran 13:21 @ 108mph, I do have an Aeromotive bypass fuel system, TA roller 1.6 rockers, Metco billet rear conrol arms with the Instant Center drop mounts, and an 850cfm annular discharge Demon carb, but my 60ft was always between 1.80 to 1.89 most of the time just like yours, the similarities in most of your setup and mine are amazing, (KB 118 cam, B4B which is very close to the performer, KB 17/8 headers, 3" H pipe exhaust, run on Hoosier 26" E-mods which are the same as DOT Quick times with a softer compound) You shoud be going faster than my old combination. Shane,
Thanks for the compliments on my car. You are missing something though  That time(Buick Performance Weekend 2005) was with the iron heads, iron intake, and a whole # less compression(9.4:1). The car weighed 4110 with nothing in the trunk, 1/2 tank of gas, and me (165 lbs). This new combo(see it says new for 2006) has not been down the track yet. Besides the increased compression(10.4:1), aluminum ported heads, and intake, I've lost at least 100 lbs off the engine, so yes, I should be deep in the 12's assuming it's tuned correctly, and I can hook it up :TU: BTW, rear gear is 3.42, but it's the 8.2 10 bolt. Hope I don't grenade it this year :Dou:
