Just curious what kind of coil springs y'all are running up front with good results? I have the entire front steering and suspension torn apart to put in new coils, upper and lower ball joints, shocks, tie rods, centerlink, bushings etc. I have a pair of Moog 5660's (stock s-10 springs, I think) that I'm planning to put in, I'm wanting a ride height that is .5-1 inch lower than stock and little more stiff--does anybody know if there is a better spring to use? The 5660's were way less money than say hotchkis or similar brands and I'm just hoping they give me a good stance and ride (I've heard mixed opinions).
Thanks, Adam
For information on springs go to the bottom of the following web page:
http://www.chicagolandbuick.org/fast_times/information/TR_info.html
Todd Thorsen even had relative ride height information/
The 5660s will soften up after awhile, but I think the 5606 stock TR springs are the best for all around driving.

So, according to that info my ride height will probably end up a little lower than stock :TU: and stiffer too :TU: Sounds sweet!! Hopefully having twice the spring rate of the stock springs isn't SO stiff that I rattle my brains out....will post again after I have everything put back together and aligned--the only thing that I ever take my car to a shop for...kinda feels like being a kid and having to go the doctor's office :ball:

Hi Bluenellie,
I put springs made for the turbo in my 350 powered t-top regal, very nice ride.
