Core support reinforcement

I need to know what color the core support reinforcement crossbars in front of the radiator are supposed to be on a `70 GSX. All the pictures I have were taken at BG last year and they are all black, but I have seen them steel gray color as well. Which is correct? Thanks.

We have an unrestored 70 GSX and these cross bars are black. The same black as the rad support.
