Im getting to the end of the 55 project and now I need a radiator.
The parts book calls for a Harrison 3131176. The car has aftermarket air and I would like to know if anyone knows of a high performance, or aluminum
(Ron Davis, Walker, etc) that will fit. Thank you Sue

Needed a new one for my 56 when I first got it. Overheated real easy.
My local radiator shop guy (older like me) recommended putting a new 3 row core in
instead of two rows like the original. He was able to reuse the top and bottom tanks of the original radiator and remount it back in the car. Runs super cool now no matter
how hot it gets. With A/C it puts even more load on the engine so an extra row in the
core would be helpful. It cost about $500 for the whole deal though but I don't ever
have to worry about overheating. I would find out who your best radiator shop is and
see what they say. An original two core new radiator would probably do OK to. Would
be interested in other opinions from the board members.
