There Used to be a 78-80 White Regal that used to attend the Dallas Mini Nats. Car was a 4 spd, dont remember which engine, but was nicely done and looked GREAT.
Someone from LSBP might have pix, or know who had it.

JR's right....it was a very tastefully done rendition of an Apollo White GSX (I'm pretty sure it was a 455 too!). A feature of it was done in the old BOP Magazine that has been defunct for several years now. I'll have to see if I can locate it in one of my many magazine storage containers.:TU:

Sounds like a really cool idea to me... I'd love to see it! Would it also have a 455?

Just something I found in the archives... I had contributed quite a bit to the thread I got this from but alas, I've lost all the photo edits a friend of mine did.
I believe Chris Lott did this one.

Yes its photoshopped!!! Cause thats my Grey Regal when it was still an Automatic and had a 73 350!!!!
I asked the same question years ago and asked for photoshop help and thats one of the replys I got.
One of the pics is done in a color like Bittersweet Mist with red and black GSX "heritage" strips that I made in the paintshop. It actually looked very tasty! There was a rear three quarter view to show how the stripe integrated with the TA spoiler. I'll try to find that pic.

This photo was taken at Chicagoland's 1997 4th of July show was the same car Andy mentioned above. This was put together with a Buick 455 by Frank Jackowiak a Chicagoland member. I believe the car made it to the GS Nationals, but had to be trailored back to the western suburbs due to engine problems. Frank later sold the car since he needed to thin the herd of cars he had collected.

Sorry for the poor quality images as this was a scanned 35 mm photo.
The next owner licensed the car in Wisconsin since it would not pass Chicagoland's emission test. When Puder closed it disappeared and have not seen the car since.

That would be Bobby Lorenz' car in Longview. He still has the car I think. I've got pics around here somewhere, but my scanner's not working.

You are correct. Still have the car. Rebuilt the 4 speed and converted to a hydraulic throwout bearing :3gears: . Still have not had time to finish the install. I will try to get a picture on.

I am doing a 73 apollo with saturn yellow and proper stripes for 71-2 and using 74 gsx side stripes and logos. Have tail on car , had to take out 5 inch over all length of tail to fit apollo. Have buckets, tilt, amfm, floor shift, suncoupe, 455, and using 71 + 73 GSX paint ralleys with caps and rings, hood tach and black out package for apollo grill. Hope for 1 year from now to be bolt up rebuild. craig

Look luck with the project Craig, be sure to post pictures when it's finished.
I too have built something almost identical to this, and it might go up for sale soon.
I'll be sure to post it here first if it does.
