When I had a Turbine 400 trans built for the 425 Q jet engine that went into my 65' GS, they included an 11" torque converter (I think that's what it was, it's been 10 years). I've heard that a turbine 300 10" is supposed to be a better choice. Any one know about it?
I have a switch pitch converter from a 300. Do I use that or get a new one? Who makes them and how much? :Do No:

The one out of the 300 will stall higher. It is the one GM used behind the 401 in the 65/6 Skylark GS. Thanks Bill.

Jim Weise can get this done- Ive got one he had fixed up in my 340 car.
Still not finished with the interior, so it has not been on the road yet.

Hello.

If you are deciding not to use the s/p converter from the ST 300 I might be interested in buying it. Will come to USA in July on vacation and join the Buick Meet in Rochester. Will pass trough WI on the way.
