Sportwagon / A-body rearend question

I have a '70 Sportwagon that's getting a Ford 9" rear. Are the wagon mounting points on the rearend / frame the same as the GS? How about the shocks?

It should all be the same, so, what kind of shape is the wagon you finally got? after you finish building the car let me know ad I might be looking for parts you don't use

I put a 70 GS rear (364 drum to drum) in my 68 sportwagon and everything was the same, so I would think that 70 GS and wagon would be the same for installation . Later I went with a 12 bolt for racing

The wagon is a little rough but nothing that isn't fixable. The windshield has leaked and made a mess of the carpet. If it makes it to the Nats it probably won't look any better than it does now!

And then there's the "spray paint" tint in the rear glass! :Dou: :rolleyes:
