I have a 70 gs and im trying to fit the biggest mt et street tire possible. IM torn between 28x12.5x15 which i know i can fit and 28x13.5x15 which after doing all the appropriate measuring is just so damn close the only way to know for sure is to trial fit it when mounted which can be time consuming and expensive.quarter panel lip is ground back to molding screws for extra clearence and its going on a 15x10 rim w 5.5" back space.just wondering if anyone out there has tried to fit this tire and had any luck good or bad, thanks chris

I'm running the 325/50R15 MT DragRadial on my car. My wheels have 5-5/8" backspacing. It's a TIGHT fit, but no rubbing issues. I can barely stick my finger between the tire and the frame rail. I also cut back the lip, but ended up going past the mounting screws on the top to insure absolutely no rubbing issue. I also have air bags in the rear springs and keep them at 7-8 psi to lessen rearend bounce as the tires can rub up in the wheel well because of their rounded shape. I'll see if I can find the thread that has the pics of my instlall. Here it is:

The pics of my car are on page two. These were the BFG 325/50R15 DragRadials. The MT I have on now for some reason are a slightly larger tire, that's why I had to cut the fender lip back some more.
