Fuel Filter for '65 401 w/ AFB

I am replacing the fuel filter on my '65 (canister type between the pump and carb) However I was wondering if the carb has an internal filter as well that needs to be cleaned or changed.

Carter AFB's do not have internal filters, hope this helps! Good Luck!
