I am in the middle of restoring a 1970 GS 455 with a 4 speed Transmission. However, the situation is as follows. The stock tranny needs a lot of work which can potentially cost alot of money, and time for that matter. I was wondering if there is a new 4 speed transmission any company which I can replace my esisting stock transmission with? and if there is who offers new 4 speed transmissions which can handle the power of a bored out 455?

Thanks,

Leo

The Paddock can sell you a brand new Muncie M20 or M21;from what I understand these are new units not rebuilt.

Thank you for the link...i was a little thrown off by the 5speed.com link. sorry about that. Thanks a bunch once again for the link. My second question is can i match that transmission to my posi rear end? To be Honest with you I know diddly squat about transmission setup and transmissions all together so any advice would be good advice. Thanks
