I'm trying to find the service manual for the 1962 buick skylark, but all the ones i find only say Special on the cover, even though they are advertised as both. Is there a difference or can i get that one to work on my car? Also, i have a fuel leak at the carburator and it needs to be rebuilt. should i rebuild or put a newer, better one in? thoughts? thanks!

Everything in the 62 Special Shop manual will apply to your Skylark. The Skylark is a dressed up Special.

Problem with your question :error:
The question should have been "rebuild or put a newer, less applicable one in?"
All joking aside, unless you have made MAJOR modifications to your engine, the very best carburetor is the original - rebuild it. :TU:
