Holley Domintator to square bore question

Hello i just picked up a DaVinci 1050 dominator, first off is this a good model, couldnt find anything about them in the summit/jegs catalog, but got it for under 475 shipped, (good deal ??) , now i have an SP1 square bore intake and i did find and adapter from dom to square, will this affect the performance, i see people reccomending a spacer all the time will this do the same, shows it as being about 2" taller, no hood clearance probs, will be going with a cowl hood, just wondering if the adapter will be fine or look for the dominator intake, thanks, John.

T/A Perf. sells a nice 1/2" adapter that I have used to convert square port to Dominator.You can bolt it down and blend the manifold to the plate or you can have someone weld it in and then do the blending.
