Prayers needed for a local family

My friend Larry Altmeyer's son Mike died this week as a result of a motorcycle crash. He was 38. Larry has been a racer for 40+ years and is a well known name locally, especially in Ford circles. I can't say enough good about the guy, and my heart breaks for his family's loss. Mike leaves behind a 13 year old son too. Today is the viewing, and tomorrow is the funeral. Please pray for the Holy Spirit to comfort them. Thanks.

Here is a prayer for them, "Heavenly Father I pray that your spirit would be with the family at this time of loss. Bring peace and comfort to those who are in need of it and bless them with your presence. In Jesus name I pray Amen!

Tim, I echo the thoughts of that prayer. Dan, I'm sorry to hear of their loss, as I'm sure it affects you and your family as well. It is very unfortunate to have to bury one of your own children. I can only imagine...

A 13 year old? That is tough. I would pray that our Heavenly Father would comfort them in this time of grief and watch after and guide them in the future. God bless these unfortunate folks and may they seek the ways of the Lord. I ask this in Jesus' Holy Name.Let us all remember that, He that is in me is greater than he that is in the world.
