I figure someone must do dealer stickers like this? If so, how much? (Mike Trom?)

Sorry, I don't reproduce those.... Do you have the dimensions of the decal and the letters? If you can find the "chrome" finish paper it can be made on a laser printer pretty easy...

What year is that from? I don't think they used decals like that until the mid-late '70's :Do No:

Mike - I took the pictures on a '63 and '66 that are part of a collection belonging to a member of our Upstate NY Chapter of BCA who lives in Saratoga. He is the second owner of both cars so I think they are probably originals. I'll have to go back and take some measurements of the stickers. My idea was to use a thin magnet to put the sticker on the car for cruise nights rather than stick it on.

Donald - where can I get that shiny paper?

I was lucky enough to find an NOS dealer plate for my car and I attached a magnetic strip to it for use at shows... :TU:

Mike,
I happen to know of one Buick dealer here in Illinois that used a sticker in 1970 and possibly earlier and has since then. A friend's 1970 Buick Electra 225 2dr bought from this Buick dealer when located in Cicero IL, now its moved.

That is interesting, it was just a guess on my part, I just thought that dealers used the pot-metal logos until the mid 1970's. Much cheaper to make a decal than a pot-metal logo.

I work in a printing shop that make decals , we use lot of different kind of paper(stickers) , the best for outdoor use would be vinyl silver , clear or white . It's even possible to have 'em die (die cut or butt cut) almost any format on the press if we have the die in hand to do it .

No idea for the price though ... if you only need virgin paper it won't be so expensive , having them print for a short run would be more expensive , you'll have to do the plate (and infography) . Up to ½ to 10 inches large or so by unlimited foot  (roll) depend on what kind/size of paper we have in stock .

edit : I just looked at your picture again and it's the kind of job we can do , price is the determinate factor .

After a closer look , what I have won't be ok for outdoor use , sorry :(

The best would be to go over a shop that do "seriegraphy" (correct term??)
