Terrible tragedy this weekend

Our neighbors have 6 and 8 yr old daughters, and the 8yr old is my daughter's very very best friend. The girls were spending the weekend at our house while their mom and dad went to the lakes for the weekend. We were having a blast, took everyone to a local water park on Saturday afternoon, followed by pizza for supper. 10pm the dad calls our house and says Amy(mom) is missing, and can we bring the girls out to the lake right away in the morning. Apparently she dove in off the boat, and never came back up. There were several others in the boat, but they were unable to find her and bring her up. Search and Resue has been working to find her since Saturday evening, and are still searching today.

These girls were very close to their mother, and really need all the prayers they can get, as does their dad. We'll be doing all we can to help them get through this, and appreciate if you could include them in your prayers. :(

Thanks to all of you for your thoughts and prayers for this family. I feel a great deal of empathy for these kids, having lost my own mother at a young age. I know they will be needing all the support they can get for the difficult times ahead of them.

Dave, I am sorry to hear such sad news. I cant even begin to express how bad I feel for those 2 kids. Its not fair to lose a parent as such a young age.

They are lucky to have great neighbors during this time.
