1955 buick bumpers

Does anybody know if a 55 roadmaster bumper is interchangeable with a 55 special?

Roadmasters are 4.8 inches wider than the '55 Special. That's not to say that a clever guy could not get it to fit...

I was looking through my 1956 buickwholesale parts guide and it shows the group no.s to be the same. 7.831. It's a good thing i asked cuz i assumed the group numbers would somewhat transfer as part no.s.

A bumper from another Special or a Century would work. They are considered "small series" Buicks. Supers and Roadmasters are "large series", and consequently will not fit.
