I would call around to some older tranny shops in your area and ask if anyone over 50 still works there, then ask them if they have any experience with older trannies. We have a few shops in our area that will do older stuff.

Good luck. It took me three years, two complete transmissions and two repair shops to rebuild a Dynaflow for me twenty years ago. The finished product was never right, either. Hindsight being what it is, I wish I had done the work myself.
