You must be a 1965 Buick Skylark virgin... There are not a great deal of repro parts for this car... So, No there are not fiberglass fenders for this car... Although I do remember seeing a fiberglass hood ????:Do No:

This is my first Skylark. Of course if it was a Chevy or GTO, then everything imagineable would be at my fingertips. Oh well, thanks for the info.

I seem to remember someone having a set made but think they were a custom job making just what he ordered. Would love some front end pieces myself but not at that custom made price.

Still looking for the number of the guy who made the glass parts - no luck yet.
There is a guy (can't recall his name) who I believe is a contributor here that has a 65 race car (green in color, like a 9 second deal) that is loaded with glass parts. Maybe he will see this and give us some info.

Walt Suare at WSRacingfiberglass can make anything fiberglass that you like. I know that he has made some parts for people, all you have to do is supply the metal pieces and he can make them.
http://www.wsracingfiberglass.com/ --- that is there web page.
Hope this helps.

Nope, not yet. I went through my GS notebooks, and didn't find it. I must have jotted it in on a Franklin Planner page, probably around 96 or 97, so thats where I have to look next. Please be patient, still looking.

Jake,
Didn't take it that way at all, no offense taken. I just always seem to have about 5 more irons in the fire than I should, so I tend to get behind (note car at left). I'll have to check the members rides, but that's probably him. I looked some last night, and still haven't run across it.

Jake,
I found the fiberglass guy. This is a few years old, so I don't know if he's still at this number, area code could have changed, etc.
Scott McConnell - 810-653-4994
Sounds like he's in the vicinity of Detroit. I have written down that he makes hoods & bumpers, nothing about fenders.
Let us know what you find out.
