Hi
I have some questions that I know you guys can help me with.
How many lamps should glow when I put on the ignition? I have these: "OIL" "AMPS" "GEN" "HOT" "COLD" no one are glowing, but when I crank the engine "OIL" "AMPS" "GEN" are glowing, all the bulbs are whole I have testing them. Any clue what is wrong should be nice. And my FUEL meter are not ok, I canīt get it to rise more than to 1/3 even if I have 3/4 or near full tank, if I put on the lights the fuelmeter goes down to empty, but are rising again when I turn it off, can all of my electrical problem hang together? And if any one have a picture on the dustcovers on each side under the hood, I canīt find new ones so I think I should make them myself, but it whould be nice to see how they looks like. I think the look alike on lesabre, electra, wilcat in 1965. The car are working but not those electrical things that I told you about. The car is a Buick lesabre 400 custom convertible 1965 and I have own the car in just six month it came from Palm Beach, I live in Sweden:rolleyes:

Your gas gauge could be a simple ground problem.. Look for the ground on top of the gas tank near the rearend.. Take off the bolt and clean the surface then replace it.. As far as the gages go I think what is happening is correct.. They should all come on whan you crank the engine.. Hope this helps.. Randy
