I just put a set of American Racing Torque Thrust D's on my 72 Skylark. I had them painted black to match the paint and powdercoating on the car. I think the new look awesome. I'm amazed at how much a set of nice wheels will improve the look of a car.

What type of paint did you use to paint the rims.I am thinking of
doing the same with an old pair of D's that I have.

I used PPG 9300 black. I had the guy who painted my car do the wheels for me. He charged me about 120 bucks to do all four.
