hello all...im new here so let me start off by saying hello...i have a 55 special that i am almost done restoring. With one problem though...when i got it it was partially tore apart...all the heater hoses had been disconected. Im not sure how to route them ...proper order and placement. any help would be great. also have two hoses coming from tranny...jason

Ok i'll try this. Wish i had a picture to show you. I just went to look at my 55 and here is how it goes. Your 2 tranny lines run into the two nipples that are on the drivers side of the water pump and go down to the factory tranny cooler and the back of the transmission. The heater hose startes at the drivers side of the coolant crossover on the upper front edge of your engine. from there it runs down the frame and into your under seat heater. Then it goes from the under seat heater ,over the tranny and back up to the passenger side firewall inlet/outlet which is just left of the blower motor. Then it goes from the firewall ,back into the fender, ad to the aux heater core by your pass side kick panel. Then the final piece of hose runs from the aux heater core to the bottom of the radiator. hope this helps. I'm not real sure which way the coolant travels so you may have to figure out which is in and out.
