After two-years of working on my '64 Skylark, I found a copy of the original bill-of-sale in a box of spare hubcaps that came with the car.
How's this for a price? On April 1, 1964, Victoria M. Kochanek of Needham, MA paid a base price of $2751. Unfortunately, Victoria didn't want the standard transmission, so she paid an additional $198 to get the ST300. Other "options" included power steering and brakes, an AM radio, back-up lights, windhield wipers and pump, "oversize" white wall tires, bucket seats and seat belt retractors.
Total price = $3366.85
