I would say a peg leg 3.08 ratio 8.5 Buick built on the 2nd shift either April 5, 1971 or 1972. I would not want to swear to this and invite others to share their opinions.

I would say a peg leg 2:56 '71 corporate rear built at 2:00 PM (Day Shift) Monday April 5, 1971.

Just MHO.

Korrie would a 2.56 not have to be an LK code?

Under the Julian rear end date code convention I think that date info is 095 meaning 95 days into a year. In the abstract it sure could but in this context the same B2 is used for Buick and the shift because the date was already accounted for by the Julian 095 date. (At least that is my take on it.)

Sounds good. I will have to check mine when I get it out. I saw it once before when I crawled under it but have not been able to locate it again for some reason. I know it is an original 71 LWB (3.42 limited slip). There were some letters and numbers as well.
