Hi Chris,
I had a 1970 Monte carlo with 15x8 ralley rims and I used 255/60 R15 Dunlops. They fit great, were a fairly common size and weren't too expensive. I'm sure BF Goodrich has the same size. Are you looking for street radials or drag tires for the back? I think you may be able to get a 275/60 on a 15x8 rim but I wouldn't go much above that. Maybe another board member could post pictures as well. Here's one off of the Tire rack website.

I hope that helps somewhat.
Good Luck,

Go with 245-60's if you want to rotate. Go 245's front and 295-50's rear if you want to go wider in back. These sizes have the same sidewall heighth so it will look uniform and will fit the car well.

back approx 5 months ago i just went through the same stiuation as you! I purchased NEW Buick rallys-- 15 x 8" for all 4 corners, I installed BFG 245/60/15 on the fronts & 275/60/15 on the rear. No clearance, rubbing issues at all, 255 /60 on the fronts are ???. Do NOT recommend!! This setup i have looks & works Great!! PM if you wish ,

The 295 50s and 245 60s are nearly identical height - difference is a few tenths of an inch. So, from the side the two sizes are a great match. From the back and from the front there is way more meat in back - a very tough look. I've never had any contact issues in the back. Unlike some of the other A-bodies the Buick was made for the 295. :TU:

I finally decided to go with 255 60 15 due to the fact that 245s were none to be found??!! But I have not yet had any rub issues. Here are a couple of pictures. Thanks to all for the input and help.
