Soundproofing

I have a 1955 roadmaster, and I need to find the material that was used for the soundproofing in the trunk lid. It looks like a thick felt with a waffel pattern embosed into. The paint shop did not remove the pieces that were still glued on and just painted over them.Does anyone know the correct name and who/where I can get a replacement. Thank you for your help :TU:
