As I'm new to the Buick world I was wondering what ET I can expect my 84 Regal to run, 1/8th mile only.
weight with driver: 3100 lbs
462 cubic inches
block zero decked, Poston Hypereutectic pistons, approx 10:26 Compression
TA stage 1 (aluminum) track 1 heads (no port work)
TA roller rockers 1.65 ratio
TA (1203) SP-2 intake (1000HP Holley carb)
Poston 107A camshaft (hydraulic) duration 320/322 lift .499
350 turbo trans/8" Coan converter (3000) stall (approx)
8.5 GN rearend 4:11 gears
30X13.50X15 ET Street tires
Holley blue fuel pump, 1/2 inch line with fuel cell
2" Headers with 3 1/2 collectors and 5" round dyno max bullet mufflers with turn outs
MSD 6AL with MSD Billet distributor

My vote is for 6.58 in the 1/8 if you can hook it up.

Hooking up shouldnt be a problem wit those big tires!!!! I would guess 6.80-7.00 to much tire and to much carb.. Put a 28 inch tall 10inch wide tire on and a 850 car will prob leave harder and be more responsive ...

Why you running 1/8 mile only?? You know Beech Bend is in the same town as you.

I race every weekend at Beech Bend (Bracket racing) and the two classes I race in are 1/8 mile. They are the only classes that pay money. These cars cost to much money to build just to race just for fun. Thats not to say I don't have fun, but I have more fun with that check in my pocket at the end of the day if I'm lucky. :)

Ohhh...I guess it costs alot of money. However, I'm running high 12's low 13's in my 71 Skylark, and I have $4000 in the whole thing.

similar to my first setup but cast iron ported heads/kenne bell maxi4 cam
easy low 11s 1/4 mile car not sure what 1/8 was cant find my timeslips
(damn wifes cleaning throws out whats not hers)
