Cragar SS Super Sport Rims

Hey All,

OK, Slowly coming along with my 66 Riv. Now the question is if anyone has any recomendations for Cragar SS Super Sport rims.
I would like to go with the 15x7's. Does anyone have a recomendation as for backspacing or just measure and go with the stock measurement?:Do No: Just thought someone would have gone down this road already and had some advice on rim spacing and possibly tire size that will fit also.:TU: Bought a set of Cragars for my 66 Riv model and found they looked great, now I'd like them for real on my car.

Hi Hank.

I will tell you this, on my 69 Riv I can NOT go with any more than the factory mag backspacing (I think it is 3 1/2"). The inside tire wall would hit the lower shock perch.

And, if I was buying 4 new mags/tires, I'd surely go with 17" if possible. No smaller than 16"s. The 66 - 69 Rivs have a LOT of wheelwell to fill.

Cragar SS's are available up to 17x9. 17x8's have a 3-1/2" backspacing, 17x9's have a 4-1\2" backspace.
