Center cap removal

How do I remove the wheel center caps from my 70 GS? Got new repros coming.

If they are originals, they should just pull off from the front. They have spring steel clips on the back, same as a horn button.

If they are repros on there now, you might have to remove the wheels and unscrew the retainers from the backside of the caps.

You will have to remove the wheels anyways to install the new caps. Did you get them from Mitch Romanowski? His caps are a work of art!:TU:

made 71/72? I bought my set from wheel vintique here in CA. Pete
