You can call SMS in oregon for fabrics. The rest may be up to the skills of your upholsterer

Don -
I agree with Mark....I'd start at SMS.
I don't know what their stock is for the 50's Buicks, but they sure did help me out when I restored my '57 Olds. They had the original fabric and I had them make the seatcovers and door panels, front and back. They were able to match the dielectric inprint on the vinyl portions of the seat covers and door panels.......they were exactly like original. They are not cheap, and I had to wait 5 months (they told me 3 months when I gave them the order). But it was worth the wait and the money. :TU:
Any one else have experiences with SMS or others that supply interiors?

I'm making my own. Though i'm not going for originality so i can pick my own fabrics. For the base, i'm using the plastic that is used by signmakers.it's flexible and won't warp. then you just glue your fabrics in whatever pattern you need. . If your using cardboard,One tip i learned was to be sure you put the plastic sheeting back behind the door panel to keep them from getting wet and warping.
