Ordering one this weekend. Can't wate! puttin the motor in tomorrow.... it's getting closer.... then the next big item is the rearend.... i wish i knew how to post pictures so i could show what i'm buildin.... decided to keep the long tail around for a spare in case of anything... or maybe it'll get used in the 68 lesabre, only need a motor for that now....

Oh yeah I miss mine! They are super fun! Where are you going to put the switch? Alot of guys will put the switch on their dash or use a high beam switch and keep it on the floor. Either way, you'll love it!

...nuther option is to wire in an RPM activated switch. It leaves you in high stall until you get up to just past the stall speed. MDS sells a good one for $25.

It's a bit more consistent than the "manual" method.

Already orderd the Switch pitch controller from poston.... might not use that, may go with a button on the shifter.. easy, cheap, good enough for what i'm doing.

Trans is from Poston, forget the guys name who builds them, he's in texas... using a 4000 high stall (not sure of low) getting the converter near free from a friend, only had about 50 miles on it.

I pick up .5 seconds in the 1/4 mile switching mine (4500 lb wagon):3gears:

This is going behind a pretty snotty 455 (.060 over) into an 83 regal. i think it'll be a fast ride...
