i am comming to my final stages of a complete resto on my 1966 skylark gs.
i bought the car with the frame and the body already seperated and the quarters half done. i recieved many truck loads of parts and put everything, car parts and boxes in a barn for about 3 years before i could really work on it. i got the car when i was 15 and dident know to look for the vin tag. they said it was in one of "those" boxes. well know i am 24 and the car is getting ready for paint and i have no vin. :Dou: the car is a more of a hot rod/pro touring look than a orginal gs, but it is still a GS .cant wait to show some pics.. it has billet specialties wheels 20x9(285-40-20) 18x7 (225-35-18), 13 front rotors, 12" rear rotors, all power brakes wilwood proportion valve, tubular upper and lower control arms(powder coated) front and rear, huge sway bars, powdercoated 9" narrowed rear end, all hotchkis springs,401 ,full length headers, finned and powder coated valve cover and valley pan, griffin aluminum radiator, and lots more thanks to alot of you guys. now i have no vin tag and want to finish up the car. if anyone has anyleads Please let me know gs or no gs, the car is a gs with complete boxed frame, gs complete dash, hood, grille, power seat(do not know if it is a gs option but very nice option) pretty much everything. thanks again paul in mass
