i would like to know how to post a pic next to my board name so it shows up when i post something, im tired of just looking at my name.

Bert, if you're looking to add a picture (called an "avatar") next to your user name, go to the "User CP" link at the top left of the page. Once there, go to the "Edit Avatar" link at the left. Following the instructions there should allow you to upload a small image from your PC. You have to re-size it pretty small, like 150 X 150 pixels.

Upper left of this page, click the link "User CP", then click "Edit Avatar" from the left side menu. You can choose a picture there or follow the instructions for adding your own.
