Old friend and Buick enthusiast dead

Please pray for my old friend and fellow Buick enthusiast Chuck Rostron. He took his own life on Valentine's day. Things can get difficult in this world and apparently it took its toll on Chuck. I had known him since the late 1960's and he was literally a childhood friend. He had several Buicks and was formerly a member of the GSCA and Penn-Ohio Chapter.

This last year he attended the Indy event with me, even though he hadn't owned a Buick in a long time.

Chuck, I'll miss you dearly.

Here he is on the left back in 2005 at Bowling Green. He is pictured with Greg Elliott, the big man on the right, who is another long time Buick buddy.

Nicholas Sloop passed this great mid 80's photo of Chuck doing battle with a bowtie in Bowling Green with his 1968 GS400 hardtop. I was with him when he bought it. Chuck made large contributions to those around him. He introduced me to my wife. He got a another friend of mine a good job last year. Unfortunately there were no services to honor and celebrate his life.

You and Chucks family will be in our prayers tonight. So sorry to hear this my best fishing buddy did that about 13years ago I still miss him when I'm alone on the boat.
