Getting noise --sometimes-- with a new clutch--if I push the pedal in about 1/2"
it stops until I fully release it again. Can I adjust this out via the adjustment
rod linkage? Thanks Pete

Did you replace the pilot bearing/ bushing? If it's worn it will cause some chatter when the clutch is depressed.

Hi Pete,
It's probably just the throwout bearing, mine does it too sometimes. You could tighten up the pedal free play a bit. How is the throwout fork and linkage, any worn parts? that will make it rattle also.
Adam.

Adam. Thanks Adam---everything is all new---I might try adjusting
the "free play". Pete

It is the throwout bearing.Mine does it a bit but that is because I like the clutch to grab with minimal pedal travel.
