Hello All. Just joined the site last week after lurking for sometime. Do not currently own a Buick :ball: but owned a '63 2dr skylark 4 speed in '63-'64 and part of '65 (raced @ Fontana, Irwindale & old Colton CA airstrip) when traded in for a '65 2dr skylark GS 401 w/AT (raced on street). Had a '70 2dr Skylark GS350 bought after returned from Nam and had it for 6 years till sold. Retire this year and am on the lookout for a nice '63 similar to listed above or a nice '70 as listed above (455 or Stage 1 would also be fine) to play with once again. Do hope I don't get kicked off this site account not a BUICK owner..... I'm trying to correct that situation ASAP. Ya All take care and keep the rubber on the pavement. Later, Jim

Hello bought my first buick the other day and am looking for some Idea's. Haven't heard it run yet. (it is a repo with a screwed up ignition cylinder) It has an old's v8 unsure of the size. I am also interested in putting bucket seats into it and moving the shifter to floor. any thoughts? ...... by the way it's an 86 regal limited. Any help would be greatly aprieciated (sic)

Hey Tim & Jim,
Welcome! Tim, I figure a 3.8 turbo would fit nicely in that Regal, as would a 455.
Jim, start organizing your funds. You be the owner of a 455 GS soon, I'm sure.

Doesn't matter if you own a Buick just as long as you enjoy them. You will find that EVERYONE HERE IS PLEASANT AND VERY HELPFUL.We all have the same thing in common.
Welcome, PAT:TU:
