Does anyone make a quality reproductio wheel for late 60's early 70's Rivieras? Maybe Davis or Mark from Then and Now have a source. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Eastwood had sets available at one time, but I haven't looked lately. They were very pricey, though.

There was a thread on Buick wheels just a while back - expensive ! :eek2: :eek2: :TU:
One source was Coker, and the other was Rally America.
$150 each with exchange core + shipping.

I saw some on an old Riv at the nationals a few years ago........damn, them looked nice!! But to the tune of so much $$$$$$ ? I'd be satisfied with what I got. Having old ones rechromed would probly be a lot cheaper.:TU:

. . . if yah can find somebody that will do em Joe.
Apparently there is a whole lot of work involved in preping the wheels for a proper rechrome job, and not too many shops are set up to handle them from what I've heard. That is why they are so expensive ! :TU:

Howrad,

The wheel vintiques wheels are for the A-body cars and not the Riv's or B-body cars.

This place used to advertise in the back of the Riview awhile back but I cannot vouch for them personally.

Still, might be a good resource. Anybody willing to give 'em a try?

According to the RallyAmerica site, those wheels are $150 exchange, $175 without exchange. That does not seem to be too outrageous depending on the quality. The A-body wheels from other sources are a little less expensive, but the Rivi wheels are in the same ball park. The A-body wheels on RallyAmerica are $125. If anyone has purchased wheels form RallyAmerica, let us know. I would rather not be the guinea pig. Thanks guys!

Just called RallyAmerica. They have one Riviera wheel and do not expect anymore anytime soon. They pick them up at swap meets and refinish them. First impressions are important and my first impression of them was not a good one. Sounded like a fly by nigh operation or a home business. Loud music blaring in the background. Oh well, onto looking for another source.

My Wheels were replated and painted in 1999 for $1100, they still look new
I'm just glad this and other plating was done buy the previous owner.

Rallyamerica did a fine job on these:

It is a one man show. His name is Gary, seemed like he knew his Buick wheels.
