On the Clutch Z-Bar (70-72) there is a hole at the end of each "arm" coming off the Z-Bar.

The clutch pushrod from the pedal goes into the LARGER HOLE...there is a rubber grommet/bushing that goes into this hole.

Does anyone have a source on these RUBBER GROMMETS???

GM PART #??

Aftermarket that is correct??

Can't find it in Year One's catalog(yes it may be in their schematic but they don't seem to list/sell the actual part)....anyone have any ideas??? Thanks, Patton

I bought rubber bushings from my local hardware store, they fit real nice. I had to press the steel sleeve into it with a vice. Not NOS, but it seems to work like a champ.

Mike Garrison (Racebuicks) can set you up or see your Chivvy dealer for part 03872955; a 2nd or 3rd gen corvette rear suspension bushing - perfect fit. You can press it in using the ol' bolt and oversize socket routine while the z-bar is on the car. Fifteen minute job.
