New MSD Distributors for Nailheads

MSD finally came out with a distributor for the nailhead,u do not have to use the MSD box to run this.

Just FYI.

There will be two designs, trigger only, for use with an MSD or other specialty ignition box, and a Ready-to-Run, which uses a special designed for the Ready-to-run size TCBI module available only from them, and a separate coil. Both are expensive.

That said, I have done both these type systems as conversions into the stock points Nailhead distributors FOR OVER 12 YEARS, NOW. One, a real HEI (not TCBI) using over the counter easily avaiable 4 prong OEM type GM HEI module, and an MSD trigger only conversion, using the same MSD pickup (8466-1) that are used in both their distributors. My conversions are less money as well.

Yes, the MSD parts are shiny, fancy billet aluminum, mine aren't.

I love the idea of the aftermarket producing new parts for nailheads, but please NO MORE BILLET:af:

No billet for my Nailhead conversions, paint only, as they are done to the stock points nailhead dists only. You get a choice of semi-gloss black, a cast iron paint, or the engine color of your choice, because if you want it engine color, you have sent the paint.
