Does anyone know were I can find headers for a 1955 Buick special 322 nailhead or do I have to get them custom made?

I haven't found any to fit my 55. I've seen a few used ones set up for a rod with a nailhead. You'll have to make them your self or have them made. There was someone on ebay selling the flanges not to long ago.

No one makes a direct bolt in. I think the later GS headers (about 65-66) wil fit but the ports are rectangular for the 401 where your 322 has round ports for exhaust.
Belond co. made them for the 322 in the fifties but they are very hard to find and bring fair money if found. Making them yourself is not that difficult if you can weld.
I built a full length set for the 401 in my 55 Special, and one other set for someone else. They take a bit of time, which translates to $$$ if paying someone else to build them though.
Flange kits show up on Ebay and also the HAMB board on the JalopyJournal.com form time to time. 'Headers by Ed' sells the flanges as well in a couple of thicknesses, very nice stuff but more expensive than those on Ebay.

I have some photos of them before I installed them into my car. I don't have a scanner, but might be able to take a digital pic of the photo I have. I will try, but not too sure how well the digital pic will come out.
I can take pics of them installed, but there is not much room so there is not much to see.

Way back when I installed a '59/401 in my '55 Special. I used the stock '59 manifolds for along time. Then I came across a set of headers for a 401 Skylark GS. The main thing I did was cut them to lengthen them, weld them back together & continue running the dual exhaust.
