I passed by a friend's house today and noticed a gold '65 Riv in the driveway.
I didn't have time to stop but I called him tonite. He's always wanted a mid 60's Riv, and now he's got one! He said it was a barn find! New fuel pump, new filters, drained the gas tank and put in some new gas, a"shotglass" full into the carb and it fired right up! The car has like 28,000 miles on it!!
He said the interior is really nice, the car is fully optioned, and the body is really good--only a few minor dings from being in the barn.
Now the "bad" news---he's sold it!! He's waiting for the new owner to come pick it up. He said the guy lives in or near Detriot.
I wonder if a club member bought it:Do No: It sounds like somebody's getting a pretty nice car!!
