today my sister took me home form school. we pulled up at a light and there was a brand new mustang with a realatively old man in it. i checked to see if he had a 6 or 8 cyl (you can tell by the # of pipes out the back.. same with camaro's) it had a 6 the guy kept lookin over at us until he nodded at me and i nodded back i say 'hey jill, floor it when the light turns green! so she does n we beat the h out of this guy off the line and i look back and the front end is bobbing furiously while hes changin gears like mad to catch up so we turn off the usual road and i said to jill 'hey this pos isnt as bad as i thought! she just smiles and thats the end of that! my sisters first race!

btw her car is a 91 (i think) corolla dx with a 4 popper and it has more rust and dents than a normal trash can

ps rice is still stupid and i made sure i pointed that out to her about 3 times before we got home

I beat an early 80s mustang GT with my accord daily driver a few months ago. The mustang was loud as hell too. That was the day i found out i had a limited slip differential. what is it with guys in mustangs thinking theyre unbeatable, but yet most of them are really slow.

lol guys i wish i was older.. but not 40!!! this guy had tp be in his late 50's and he shifted so slow! i couldnt believe it! i dont get it? why are these guys so cocky all the time? my (ex)girlfriend's brother had a 94 5.0 convertible... he trashed it in a race that he was losing horribly from what i hear. he thought that car was so fast! well now he has a 2002 gt convertible that he races with and thinks its the fastest car on the planet... its complete nonsense

disclaimer: anyone over 50 that thinks they are still young should not and cannot be offended by the previous comment of "relativley old" REMEMBER!! im only 14 so most of you are old to me!

I thought i was the youngest here at 20.. but you makin me feel old =) ahh i remember being 14... of course when i was 14 my life revolved around pot and skipping school... its good to see not all 14 year olds have such frivilous interests. oh... and will you be able to drive the GS when you get a licence?.. cause if so i am REALLY jealous.

He SAYS i'll be able to drive it but he'll never give it to me and if i were him i wouldnt trust me with that beast, i just cant wait til he gets a gn!

ya... i probobly wouldn't let you drive it either... hehe. Although, I wish i had a father with a car like that to show me the ropes... might have kept me outta some trouble if ya know what i mean.

P.S. if you were offended by my mention of drugs in my first post here let me remind you its about impossible for a 20 year old to afford a buick habit and a drug habit... so guess what got the axe... i love my GS

i thought i was one of the youngest ones at 17. never thought that there would be that many younger than me here. i'm biulding a 350 regal (for now, 455 going in when i get the money for cross member for bigger trans) and there are some pretty cocky kids in the rusttangs and rice roaster. i'm think i'm gonna have fun around here when i get it built

yes, i asmit that being "old" is a feeling. my greatgrandp is 94 and he's still as young as me(17). so i'm appoligizing for all of us young one talking about you that have more years on this earth as being old

Im 19 and I feel old, but I guess the two bad knee's and arthritic elbows don't help any :af:

I've been driving Buick since I got my license, and have owned my first car (an 85 riviera) since I was 15. It might've been rusty and slow, but it got me places and it was a good drive-in car. My skylark works (sometimes) now, at least during the summer.

be fair to mustangs guys.
one of my first projects was an 89 stang, pos with a blown 4 banger. found an svo turbo four, bought a big ass turbo, 660cc injector and a cheap ass fuel controller. 12.5 for less 1200 buck, but i spun a bear six months later and gave it to my cousin.

Rice is stupid but if a Ricer can beat a Rustang then there not all that bad.

Hey Josh(71buickg.s.), Im glad to here there is more than one 14 year old in this forum and in the U.S. that actually loves buicks!
Im 14, and I got my permit already. I turned 14 October 20th and got my permit the 24th. And ever since, Ive been drivin my buick. Its pretty cool actually. Its a 1976 buick century, and its got a little 231 V6 in it! but its pretty fast for a little 6 banger.

Hey Josh('71buickg.s.), Thats a pretty sweet picture of that GN! I know that buick makes a fast 6 cylinder, the GN, but its kind of unbelievable of what a non-turbo 6 banger can do in a big car like mine. especially a buick century, but its not unbelievable that buick makes an engine such as that to power a car like mine. You can be 14 over here in iowa to get the permit, and 16 to get a license. Anyways, Buick has always kept its promise that to me, "when better cars are built, buick will build them."
