Sounds like you need a new set of center caps. might as well buy the whole thing if the emblems and the snap rings. I might have a few snap rings. Can you post a picture of your caps? Mitch Romanowski makes some beautiful reproductions.

I bought some for my 65 @ Cars inc. sold emblems and snap rings seperate.

That is the next option, thanks for the referral. I always try the cheap fix first, but if that does not happen then I will go for the repros. I was looking at some repros on Postons, but they were not cheap $42 each plus shipping. My 1974 in Nice but not show quality so I try to find good used parts first (saves me money):laugh: . It is amazing what people have on this site to sell.

I have these spring clips. Just one like the the one on the left, and several of the one on the right.

Originals were riveted in. Most repro's are screwed in. You can tap the originals to accept small screws, make sure you use locktight.:TU:

u need a drill press to drill the holes thru the rivet mounts on the cap. i purchased a couple of medallions (71-72) from cars & using the rings & caps from two bad original centre caps (the caps polished up like new), made myself a couple of "new" spares.
