Where should I begin?

I'll be picknig up my '69 skylark Custom in a week... and I want to at least get the car driving and them worry about the cosmetics. What should I start with first?

The normal stuff, spark plugs, oil change, points, carb rebuild, cap/rotor, spark plug wires (if it needs it), hoses, belts. All of that kind of stuff. Good luck with it!

Brakes are always important. Make sure all lights, horn work. Think of it like an inspection a service station would do when you take it in for a once-over.
