What are you putting it in?
If you have a g-body Regal then yes (unless you happen to alrerady have an 8.5" rear but then you would most likely already have a posi as well).

sorry, yea its going into my 86 v6 regal,soon 2 be v8 powered...I wanna stay with the stock 7.5 because I spent alot on the wheels and from what I understand the 8.5 rear end is longer..

You have 26 spline axles as well so it should drop in okay.
