Hey guys! Need some help! We would like to install rack & pinion steering on our 57 Super. Has anyone here done this? Is there a kit out there? Or perhaps a donor car that would work? We would prefer not to clip the frame if possible.

Have a look at caddy classics by rpm dot com they do disc brakes and power racks for all sorts of classics.

Pleased I could help. Let us know if you do the conversion and how it drives versus what you have now. I am weighing up a Fatman front clip versus this option as well.

How does the Fatman clip compare to the caddy classics options as far as cost is concerned?

The Fatman clip is $800 - 900 for the basic frame and increases up to about $3k for shockwave airbags, big discs, polished arms and rack and pinion power steering already to go. I have no idea on costs involved for the Caddy option as yet.

We haven't ordered the setup yet but Ron at the caddy classics place quoted me a price of $1275 without the pump or $1650 with pump.
