What lug nut is used on a 1968 Buick rally wheel? And where can i get them?
It is a GS Skylark, if that matters.

Looks like you might be out in the boon docks of Minn.
So don't know how far an Autozone or the like is, but I would go
there and try some. They lots of sizes and styles to pick from.

They have 3 or 4 diffrent ones that will hold the wheel on, but I wanted to know wich one was the correct one. Or does it matter?

Sorry, I don't know correct, I usually go with what looks good.
Good luck anyway. Has the snow melted yet?

If the size is like a 70 theyar 7/17 20.

Check to see if a 68 used the acorn nuts.

Owen I have just eyebaled them and both are acorn nuts by style. I think the originals had a thin cap over a steel body and are not reproed. So I suppose it would be better to say his are much closer to the originals than the long type sold at Autozone.

I got my stainless ones from CARS.. They look very nice, and will never rust cause they are 100% stainless. No caps to loosen up either. 75 bucks though is a little steep for a set..I cringed when I clicked the confirm order button..lol..:TU:

Mitch sells the polished stainless nuts such that you can comb your hair by them.

Jim,

Sorry for being so aggitated, I've been looking for for the correct wheel nuts for many years, so after getting his (which are the same one year one sells for a lot less) they are about 3/4 the size of the orginals....they do look like the orginals, but smaller...:rant:Plus...you better carry a correct Wheel Wrench...your orginal is is to big for these nuts...

FYI.

Hi Jim,

I'm not going to stock lug nuts for the time being. I usually purchase them from CARS in NJ.

I do have the center caps if you should ever need them.
