any one ever put a fatman frame stub on a 57 thinking of putting one on so I can get it as low as possible also anyone put air ride on one I want my to be able to put the bumpers on the ground any help would be great

I have a bagged 58. it gets pretty low but no bumpers on the ground. i didnt do any thing to the front just but the bag were the spring went (although laid out my tie rods hit the frame in the process of notching the front) your kinda on your own for the back I had a new rear end and rear susp. custom made but I'm pretty sure you will have to tunnel for your driveshaft i also notched the rear but only the thickness of the frame. when i get the smaller tires i should lay frame.

your car looks good thats how I want mine to look low as i can go I was going to do the rear like how the guys that build mini trucks do it weld in a bridge and cut the frame and floor out to get a 7in c notch so I can mount the bags on top of the axle and build a 4 link I will be using a 9in so all the brackets I will have to make Ill post some pix of the work when I get that far
