Gents;
Just curious as to how many of you guys are adding some of this to your gas tanks, or for that matter a little tranny fluid.... all to lubricate the valve seats to replace leaded gas.

In my Electra, I have used a lead additive in the fuel, but I have been told by some to use the top end lubrication. In fact, I seem to remember seeing a picture older straight 8 (either Buick or Packard can't remember) that actually had a marvel mystery oil drip feeder into the fuel line before the carb.

Any thoughts on using this approach on our BBB's without hardened valve seats? Thanks very much!

I use the Marvel oil when I store the cars away for extended periods. I believe it helps on the start up of the engine.

I won't break an engine in without using Marvel Mystery Oil

I can see using it in both situations, especially when the car is stored for long periods of time. I guess what I'm wondering, is anybody using it on a fairly regular basis, say, instead of a lead additive to the fuel?
