Manual trans/455/regal

not sure if this has been covered or not, just redirect me if it has. Anyone done a Muncie 4 speed/regal conversion yet? I don't mind crossmember fabbing, and I NEED a stick shift car. Anyone done it? I am trying to put parts together for a 455/manual trans. regal conversion. Any constructive thoughts/ideas are appreciated.-Abe

I've got a t-10 in mine. I also have a muncie fine spline in my 55 chevy . They are the same as far as bolting in in concerned. You will need a crossmember from a th-350 car (malibu-monte carlo etc) I used a bellhousing from a 76 firebird. Bought a new hurst shifter from a 81 firebird-camaro and another stick to fit through the console. ( I used a grand prix console, it had more room for my gauges) I fabbed a hyd clutch set up. Not a big deal really most everything is bolt in. You will need a set of g-body pedals too.
